Muffy….saw your question about dehydrators.  I have one consideration.  I don’t like the circular type where you disassemble the whole device when you take the trays off from the top.  I find the box type is much more versatile.  I take out the trays and put quart canning jars of goat’s milk yogurt.  Also if you have something to dehydrate that’s a little larger, some of the circle trays won’t adjust for that.  I can just leave out every other tray to give more space between them.  As for brand…mine is so old….from back in the early 80’s?  It has done a huge amount of work and is still working but one side is no longer heating.  I have to rotate the square trays around to get the heat on all sides evenly now.  This brand is no longer sold, I think tho.  I think Excaliber is one of the fine/expensive brands.  But I haven’t paid much attention.
