Amy Dixon…thank you so much for the dehydrator info!!! I feel a whole lot better now with your info to shop for one. I am definitely going to look into the Excalibur brand as I think personal recommendations can be more helpful than all the advertisements. I’ve decided that since electrical outage is a more likely scenario where all my freezer things would be lost, doing more preserving through dehydration and canning make a bit more sense for me. I’m also looking into a Food Saver device for sealing up things. Again, thanks!!!
