For my challenge today I am starting a kitchen compost bin out of some five gallon food grade bucket that I purchased a few years back and never used. I will put one in the mud/laundry room right off the kitchen for all vegetable peelings and vegetable scraps and when that one fills up I will move it out and put another one in. This Spring I am starting a container garden to grow fresh vegetables and will used this compost if I am successful at making it.. I hope this can be considered homemade.
