Government employees are simply a few rungs on the ladder above the common citizen. They enjoy extra privileges. It always rubs me the wrong way when some government employee does wrong or is under some sort of investigation and they won’t release the name because they say its a “personnel matter”. Hey, ya know.. those people work for us and we pay their salaries, we deserve to know who they are!
Local police were involved in a shooting several months ago where one of them got wounded. They wouldn’t release the name of the wounded cop and haven’t to this day.
