Flamingolady, do great minds think alike? We had chicken and fries for supper too. I went to town today to run errands and bought some supplies, basics (like baking soda and milk). I was tempted with baked sweets but resisted thinking I will bake something later.
Found the wool to make dryer balls and found some old flannel to cut up and hem for tp #1 only. Was thinking of using telephone book pages and burning them. Not sure yet if I want to go that far when I don’t have to, but hey, its a challenge..
OldMtWoman, I’m confused why you melted lead to make holes in paper. Could you expand on that?
A remedy for the urinary tract is Arctostaphilus Uva Ursi tea, also known as bearberry or kinnikinic. Grows around here. You can find pictures on the internet. Use leaves and the ones gathered in spring are the best. Tastes bad but palatable if you add a bit of honey. My DH used to take it when he had kidney stones. It keeps bacteria from sticking to the bladder. You can gather it or buy tea bags even. Just ask for Uva Ursi tea.
