Today I am making more of the homemade laundry detergent.
1 bar Fels-Naptha laundry bar (finely grated)
1 cup borax
‘1 cup washing soda
Melt soap in 3 cups of heated heater till soap is melted, add the borax and washing soda stir until it is dissolved. Pour into container and add two to three gallons of cool water and 10 drops of essential oil if desired, stir to mix well and let set for twenty four hours. Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup in each washer load.
Using homemade laundry detergent and homemade liquid fabric softner makes my clothes look brighter and smell fresher. I also put a wool dryer ball in the dryer too cut down drying time and make the clothes even softner.
