Nana Mike – My understanding of this particular challenge is that it is not a “use up your stockpile” type of challenge but rather is a “make it from scratch” challenge. Also, in the article found by clicking on the link in the Rules for this challenge, Daisy mentioned that she wants people to ‘build up’ their supplies now, not deplete them, given the uncertain state of what’s going on in this country and the world as a whole right now. So, I’m sure she and Selco would encourage you to get those great sale items and add them to your storage. Just don’t eat or use them this month if they’re store-bought (and are not raw ingredients or parts), lol. That’s my take on it anyway.
