I made my own disinfecting spray with peppermint added to multi-purpose cleaner since illness is going around like crazy here!
I also cooked dry beans overnight in the thermal cooker with half a large onion and a clove of garlic. It tasted delicious. Today I need to freeze some of what we did not use. I suppose learning to can should be on my list of things to do since we do not have a backup for electricity and thus the refrigerator.
