I worked today so supper was leftovers from the weekend.  We had shepherds pie and cabbage with potatoes and sausage.  There wasn’t enough of either for the entire family so we just heated everything up and folks had whatever, first come, first served.  I used my break time at work to do a little knitting.  I keep small portable projects like hats or dishcloths to work on a little at a time.  This evening I finished making a bedrest pillow for one of the grands.  Found some food themed print fabric for beeswax wraps. No time for melting wax this evening but got the edges prepared with the pinking shears.  After Christmas I found some cute potholders and dish towels for 40 cents. I’m cutting them in half to make kitchen boas. These are just long strips of fabric with towels at both ends that you wear around your neck so you always have a dishtowel close at hand.  I’ll keep a set for myself and put a few sets away for gifts.  It’s never too early to start planning for the holidays. Got beans on to soak for supper tomorrow and calling it a night.
