Made our breakfast from scratch and will be using some frozen stuff for dinner along with a salad put together from scratch I guess…
Made a stitch pony today to be used in leather working. Had to get a hardwood board that I did not have…could not use pine and have it last. Got a few more things but still paid less total than buying one off of the net. Can not find anything like that around here. So now I can stitch up leather projects and also clamp some other items as needed. You can clamp it to a table or sit on the boards on the bottom on a flat chair.
Had a lot of fun making this….took most of the day except for when we had to make more syrup for the hummingbirds that were not happy at all that I had let it run dry. We used 1 1/3 cup water and 1/3 cup sugar along with one drop of red food coloring. Some people leave the dye off but I tried that and the birds seem to not like it much. Put color into it and they went after it pretty well. As I was hanging it back up, one came down and hovered, watching me and seemed to be saying….Hurry up old guy. I really like to watch those little guys.
