Bacon and eggs for late breakfast and for dinner leftover roast, potatoes and gravy and carrots that I had canned.

I have some  wild chaga so watched a couple of videos on how to process it.  I have vodka for tinctures but need to get some more, maybe when I have to go to town tomorrow.  Basically you break it in small pieces or grind it and soak it in vodka for at least 8 weeks, then pour off vodka and measure it, put same amount measured in pan to boil with soaked chaga, measure level on side of pan then add another same amount of water to pan and bring to boil and simmer till the amount in pan measures the same amount it did after adding first measure of water.  (if vodka poured off chage measures 2 cups, then add two cups water, measure up side of pan and add 2 cups more water and simmer down to first amount which would be 4 cups).  Set pan aside for a day and do the next day and the next.  Then pour into large jar (should be 4 cups) and add original amount of vodka the chaga soaked in (should be 6 cups).  Now you have chaga tincture.  Use by putting one teasp per 8 ounces water for tea.  Youican look this up on the internet and also read all the properties and health benefits of it.  What is it and where do you get it?  You can collect it in the wild off of birch trees.  It is a fungus that grows on them and has been used in Siberia for generations.
