Yesterday Jan 8th we had pinto beans made with the beans I soaked the night before. Tonight is Taco Bell type border bowls made at home. Last of leftover chicken, mashed leftover beans for refried, seasoned rice. It’s even better than TB brand! I’m off work tomorrow since spouse is having hand surgery. He doesn’t go in till late in the day so I’ll have some time to catch up on current projects. I’ll finish the beeswax wraps and get some sewing done on the pads for my daughter. Tonight I mixed up a batch of taco seasoning. Tomorrow I’ll make chili seasoning and onion soup mix.
Ozark Mama I’ve tried just about all the brands of freeze dried meats out there. I think Thrive is about the best. I’ve been making up meals in a jar with a few cans and it has all turned out well. I don’t have a way to make cheese yet so I’ve put up a few cans of freeze dried cheese as well. It’s all very good.
