Hi! MimiPrepper here. Family of 7 in Georgia. Married, and a mother of 4 grown children, grandmother of 2. All with me (including a son-in-law) except my oldest and his wife and their daughter. Trying to be prepared for whatever happens. We have chickens (22 now with a separate “bachelor pad” for the extra roosters – they were from a hatch of our own hens and we couldn’t give them up), a dog, cats. Large garden. Fruit trees. I want to get into canning but haven’t had the time or money for the equipment. I work full time and am limited by Chronic back problems (was in hospital last summer and out on disability for almost three months). Just trying every day to be more prepared. Hoping to pick up tips for a more productive garden (how to keep down weeds and pests without pesticides) and dehydrating and canning advice. Thank you Daisy and Selco for hosting this!
