When I was a Boy Scout many decades ago we used ‘white gas’ to fuel all the Coleman lanterns and stoves. At the time only Amoco sold the non-lead fuel. Much cheaper that Coleman fuel even back then. Why the need to distill gasoline? All of it is now un-leaded. My duel-fuel equipment runs just fine.
