I am trying to make mittens for a Grandson. I used the matching chunky yarn Grandson’s hat was made from, and used a proper pattern for chunky yarn. Well, they were so large they fit Hubby. So, he gets a pair and I start over and try to make the mittens small enough. I must use the same yarn and make the mittens smaller. Now, the knitting skills come in to play…hopefully I have some; smaller needles and fewer stitches I think.
