It’s been a fairly quiet day around here. I have been doing tons of research on many DIY projects. Today I made up some fake jiffy cornbread mixes. I used a couple of them tonight in our broccoli cornbread supper. I add cheese and diced ham to the recipe to make it a one dish supper. Everyone pretty much scavenged leftovers for the other meals of the day. I found directions for reusable dryer sheets that I’m going to try to stretch the fabric softener I have left. Take old washcloths and soak in the softener then let them dry. You can just toss the dry cloth in the dryer. According to the directions it can be reused about a dozen times until you have to soak it again. It’s worth a shot.
