Yesterday I went to lunch with an old friend and some new neighbors at a restaurant that was about 1+1/2 hours’ drive away. On the way back home, I chatted – just a little bit – with the new neighbors about emergency preparedness to start to broach the subject. Didn’t really do any prepping, as such, that day though.
Today, I’ve been trying to fight off what seems to be a slight head cold coming on, and watching the snow come down, while catching up on my online correspondence. I also read a few online articles about food storage and downloaded some recipes that use shelf-stable ingredients – pretty quiet day 😉
