Long day. Prepping for another storm coming from the West. Topped off water tank …again. Hope we don’t get too much….my shoulder is just almost back to normal. Sweeping/shoveling is not kind to it.
Usual egg something this morning. Can’t even remember if I cooked or DH. ?? Tonite I shaved off strips of beef and fried…made beef/cheese burritos. [or soft tacos?] Whatever. So many ways to use the rare-roasted beef. Quick/EZ.
SIGH….those reader glasses pulled apart again. Just too much pressure from the tight spring. The tape is sliding backwards from the pressure. So I’ll have to sacrifice the hinge-function altogether. Bind it all up. At least I’ll be able to use them. Might try to spring the hinge permanently….open it just a little and take the pressure off the bow that way. The other pair of a different model and vision strength….bought the same day…is just a bit wider and is not having any trouble. I’ll have to remember that when I buy more…as I inevitably will. Maybe I should just turn these into those opera glasses you hold up with a stick on one side???? Hmph. When I FIX something, I expect it to STAY FIXED!
