Makn homemade pork and beans canned from mr. Simon in november. Added some homegrown garlic, and a chunk of ham. Tried out a cardboard candle wax tuna can in my rocket stove it smoked terribly so i put it in my attached greenhouse with a tea kettle of water. It burned hot for an hour, so is good for alternate cooking, but not heating the house. May put some rocks wrapped in aluminum foil next time for heatn my bed. The soot was bad so i just put a little foil under the kettle and had a nice pot of tea for the day. Am still fighting off something the elderberry seems to be helping, i can still work. Trimned a goats hooves this am, the dog really liked the trimming, i know, gross, but dog sometimes are. Going to trim my wheatgrass today and dehydrate it on a plate over the pilot on stove. Will probably trim it 3 more times then give the roots to the quail and chickens and start a new batch.
