Wow to the whole NO Cancer. Keeping my fingers crossed.
I went through my winter storm checklist. I am rechecking all supplies to ensure I am ready for the winter storm headed to NY. Forecasts are for 12-18 in; but in my higher elevation, I can expect up to twice that amount so up to 3 FEET of snow. That type of winter storm means possibly a power outage. I have lots of wood beside the wood stove, all ready to go. The wood stove is a cranking. I almost feel a hot flash from the heat! Lol. Shovels are prepped. I checked all the lanterns, lights, etc. I have tons of food and water on hand. I have plenty of fuel for snow blower. The chain saws are also all fueled and ready for any downed trees. Solar batteries are all charged.
I just have to make a run to the dump to drop off trash and recyclables. In my community, the locals won’t be stampeding the grocery store, but there will be a line at the dump for trash. Another one of those signs that you really live in a rural area. Lol.
