Well as you can see we haven’t been on much this month due to the gov shut down. Have been working with family members to help get through instead. But then this is one of the things we prep for. One sister prepper has had to use up her supplies this last year due to sudden and then prolonged spousal illness that led to widowhood and being broke while caring for her grandchildren which left her supplies exhausted and she was only just started last month building up a reserve when they were hit with this shut down. the other sister moved to aid our mother and was misled about employment which exhausted her reserves so now the rest of us are working to try to fill in the gaps. But being scattered all over the place right now limits How we can cooperate.
But I have been reading your posts to keep up. My son bought Selco’s book, it came yesterday and I read it last night in between playing Pete the Cat with the grandkiddie. It was well worth it, got it on Amazon. He will read it tonight and give it to his sister. Read a few thing out of it to my daughter which she heartily agreed made great sense.
Worked on a Faraday cage, got some more pieces to make the dehydrater and cut up the sheets for bandages but need to sew them and then sterilize them later but that was as far as I got this month other than cooking and getting seeds in, also planted the celery stub and put it on the window sill, and got some dyhydrating done with the electric dehydrater. Have not been using the food reserves because of the shut down as I may have to feed more family members out of it since I expect the shut down to continue past this month, with their reserves all ready exhausted suspect we may have to feed others as the jobs become imperilled.
See you later
