We are missing the snow. Its passing north of us. But tomorrow night (Sunday) the temp drops into the mid-teens with high gusting winds. One report is gusts up to 55mph and wind chills in the single-digits. We are so saturated here from months of rain that I feel sure we’ll loose power yet again. I’ve never witness a sustained weather pattern like we have experienced over the past ten months. One or two days of sun, often with gusting winds, and then four or five days of gloom with rain, sleet, snow… whatever for the particular season. Really hampered planting last spring and likely will again. I’ll be checking out the generators tomorrow and seeing to the wood stove. It may be the only heat we’ll have.
