Its very cold here and one day is starting to run into another.  I went to town today for more supplies and got stuff to put into food stash that were on sale.  Oatmeal for breakfast.  I usually doctor up mine as I get tired of it easily.  Put pecan meal and dates in it as well as honey.  Got the mail, did laundry.  Yesterday blew out the snow in the drive and paths.  When I went to town I cheated and got hamburgers for supper- yeah I know I could have easily made them but I didn’t.  I also know I shouldn’t go to town hungry.

I also read some of Selco’s book that I got on Amazon.  I appreciate Selco very much.  I like hard copies of things.  I keep a notebook of made from scratch as well as recipe box and a ton of cookbooks.  I have to weed them out.  I also keep a notebook labeled “where” when I put something away for a long time.  Helps me remember.  I have read that coconut oil is good to help memory and so is rosemary.  Getting enough sleep helps for sure.

When I start to feel under the weather I take a teaspoon of bee pollen I got from the health food store and I know a nurse that does that too.  It really seems to work but if you are allergic you should probably try a very small amount to see how it might affect you.

I am a ham- an extra but still not adept at morse code so practicing at a website- LCWO (Learn morse code online).  I use earphones so I can focus without driving anybody else nuts.
