woodsrunner…..  LOL!  What you said about trying to remember when you relocate something — I think a post it note would be great.  My old brain loves to get stuck in ruts and is flummoxed when I’ve moved things and brain keeps saying that it USED TO BE HERE!  Note-To-Self might just fix that.  LOL  Love your creativity!

Nana Mike….why can’t you use powdered laundry soaps?  How does it affect old plumbing…cuz we have that here.

Made fried egg sandwiches.  I had some cereal early…a mix of several nearly gone boxes and some walnuts.  DH slept late…he got quite a shock last nite so I left him sleep.  I set up his lunch: sandwich/apple.  Showed him where it was and told him I was feeding animals for him this morning.  But I needed to know what changes…like for the OLD horse’s special feed.  He appreciated the break and was able to leave for work on time with breakfast eaten and lunch in hand.

For supper I made spaghetti sauce from canned tomatoes, chopped onions/garlic, spices.  It’s cooking merrily when I remember I don’t have Italian sausage.  So I search upstairs fridge.  Headed outside to check downstairs fridge…..and RAN BACK UP TO PORCH QUICKLY!  Dog has set off with Important Barking and I wasted no time backtracking to her side.  WHAT’S out there?  The full moon was so bright she spotted a coyote on the road [could have been worse] but it was already leaving….quickly.  Her voice has command presence!   So I went back down to basement [exterior stairs are a pain!] and searched the second fridge and the small chest freezer.  Found many things to toss out and several things to bring upstairs.  I haven’t looked in these for a very long time.  DH brings home groceries and brings things up for me.  They need a better sorting out but I did some.

Did not find sausage of ANY type.  Found bacon tho.  🙂  For breakfast, not spaghetti.  Finally remembered and I sliced up the last of that never-ending roast.  It works for tonite and uses that up.  Sometimes ya just gotta go with the flow.  DH can pick up sausage tomorrow….cuz I made a big pot for leftovers.  He’ll make a last shopping run for me….before he leaves on his trip.  [more in Jan. Check-In]
