Another recipe for dish soap 2 bars grated Octagon soap (could be another brand) 1 cup baking soda 1/4 cup washing soda 1/4 cup lemon juice Put shredded soap in 4 1/2 to 5 quarts of water and melt on stove. Turn off heat and add other ingredients. Sit. cool. pour into sealed containers. Doesn’t suds much but gets dishes very clean.
