This may sound a bit callus, but I dont feel for those with their heads in the sand, or perhaps in other places.
I see it as each and everyone of us are responsible not only for our own actions, but also for our awareness of our surroundings.
Granted we have gone from a place where our surroundings was everything a mile or so from our homes to world wide events taking place. But we can still be informed.
When it all goes sideways, and the big ugly comes about, I will be shocked . . . but not surprised.
