Not much yesterday…did a lot but nothing outstanding for DIY except did put up a cheap light that gives me more ability to see where I do my leather projects.  Made smoothies for breakfast and tried a new method of cooking meatloaf in instant pot while cooking potatoes at the same time on the bottom of the pot.  You put broth in and the cut up potatoes then put the little rack that comes with the thing then wrap meatloaf in foil on put it on the top.  Set pot to go and it took about 15 minutes to get to pressure then it runs by itself for what we set it on..25 minutes…the it cools down or pressure drops actually for about 15 minutes and the meatloaf is taken out and put BBQ sauce on it and put under broiler for about 5 minutes until it bubbles.  At same time we took cooked potatoes out of the pot and mashed then with added sour cream and butter….also did our salads at the same time.  so total time to do dinner including prep was 1 hour 5 minutes.  Best meat loaf I have ever had.

Then we watched a short video about “oil pulling”  Had never heard of it but my wife has a thing called Lichen Planus in her mouth and we have been looking for something to ease the pain…lots of little sores.  This oil pulling is a funny way to say swish some coconut oil in your mouth for about 20 minutes then spit it out and wash your mouth out with water and then brush like normal.  I asked her today if it worked and she said the pain is better.  Got better as she swished she said.  And better today.   Only the first day but good indications so far.

Made another sheath today that turned out pretty good.  Love working with leather.  Did our normal smoothies and am cooking chicken legs in instant pot right now.

Have a good evening.
