Amy Dixon. It did, didn’t have to use salt either. Told my sister what I did and she said “That’s Nanny’s recipe” I totally forgot our great grandmother making vegetable soup that way. She said it was Great Grandad’s mother’s German soup recipe. No wonder It tasted so good LOL The things you pick up when you’re little do stay with you, I guess.
