AmyD….seeds grown right there?….so lucky to find a resource like that!! Will save several years of finding out the hard way…which will/won’t grow in new area. Our library started a seed sharing deal. Use old card catalog cabinets to ‘file’ the seed envelopes…LOL {if you aren’t old enough to know what a ‘card catalog‘ is….Google it.}
Lil’Sister…definitely relate. Diseases make normal survival a challenge.
I did other AM chores and end with dog walk on [thankfully] flat road. I always use an old aluminum ski pole for support but after taking a few steps….I went back to grab another stick for bi-lateral support. [I stash dead aspen sapling sticks everywhere] 🙁 I got only a few steps again and declared: PLAN B!
That means dog and I get into car and drive to a nearby dead-end road. Rarely meet a vehicle there. She runs outside the car on her retractable leash….my arm out the driver’s window. She can full-out RUN….then hit her brakes waaay faster than I can. Thankful for the retractable leash or I’d lose my arm. Nearly have a couple times….Plan B needs fast reflexes. But if I don’t lose my arm, it works without wearing me out….or collapsing which I DO avoid! LOL
So….got AM chores accomplished. Ate. Read. TOOK A NAP! That really helped tho it wasn’t a long nap. Then PM chores, I could walk dog a short distance. Stamina is really affected by this ‘siege’. 🙁 But….DH CAME HOME TONITE. \0/ He’s so exhausted that it’s still going to take both of us to accomplish what we need to do. Dog was silly-excited to see him back where he belonged!! Poor thing didn’t know what happened. I used the code word for him just as our friend drove in the driveway…he’s baaack!
OldMtWoman….we’re both taking prevention herbs due to being over-strained right now!
