To add one thing to Columbia River’s comments on making bread in bread machine.  Before it leaves the MIXING period, I poke it lightly with my finger.  If some of it sticks to my finger, a bit more flour is needed.  It if feels like a rubber ball…it’s too dry.  If it KISSES your finger [holds on but then releases] but with no residue, its good to go.  😉

Used up the last OLD apple in the oatmeal this morning.  Scrambled eggs with bacon, onion, spinach, cheese for lunch.  Added more garlic to the stew tonite.  We’re battling a microbe attack…but will win.
