Woodsrunner..so happy you made it home safely! Those of you in the really bad weather areas hopefully can just stay in. I’m in West TN and all we’re getting is some below freezing temps but no snow or ice this go round.
Today I got creative with some packing materials Kroger is using in shipments to me…a brown paper with some amazing cutouts creating a very lacy look. I gathered it around the base of a plain jar, secured it with a rubber band, tied some pretty ribbon around the base and stuffed some artificial flowers inside the jar. A cool arrangement from “scratch” using recycled materials.
My favorite breakfast from scratch – a toasted English muffin, covered with cooked spinach, topped with a poached egg, a dab of mayo and sprinkled with smoked paprika. V-8 juice on the side.
Last of chili for lunch and friend brought me some chicken and dumplings for supper.
