Today was a day to stay warm. I baked beans in the oven and made soup to warm up the house.
It was -17 and felt like -45 a few hours ago, and the temps are dropping. Schools have been closed all week. Some stores are closed tomorrow.
Some friends 12 miles away lost power in the cold. We charged our phones, filled up extra water, and charged the battery for jumping the car.
