Molly Malone – Sorry to hear about your computer issue! I hope it will be fixed for you very soon. As to the closet formerly known as the “Portal to Hell”, I’m sure you’ll do a great job with the power sander. I think your Super is right about the wallpaper idea. It probably would be prone to tearing or getting scuffed up. Plus, I imagine it would be difficult to hang wallpaper on a wall that’s bumpy to start with.
Hieronyma Textor – I’m very glad to hear your daughter’s recovery is going so well!
Beyond Blessed – Enjoyed reading your update on what’s been going on in your world 🙂
I haven’t gotten much prepping done the past day or so. Yesterday, I did charge up my rechargeable flashlights and lanterns, and my Goal Zero Yeti 400 “power station”, in case we lost power in the snow squall that was predicted for my area today. I also filled up a few extra bottles with drinking water just in case. Today, it did snow a bit, and we had some high winds for a couple of hours, but the terrible weather that had been forecast never came to pass. We were just lucky here I guess. I hope that all the Forum members in the Mid-West and North East are staying safe and warm!
This afternoon, I re-organized a kitchen cabinet and watched an online video on how to make various types of stocks, court bouillon, and demi-glace. I also did a little online research into the ingredients in the various brands of Pilot Bread Crackers available for purchase. I have a couple of No. 10 cans of Mountain House Pilot Bread Crackers already but am thinking about getting some Sailor Boy Pilot bread from Amazon.com and re-packaging it so it will store for a longer time.
