I’m stopping in at Muffy’s house for carrot muffins. 🙂 We haven’t baked anything here for ….well since the stuff keeeeeps on hitting the fan. Minor and semi-major stuff. Love baked stuff. {love it too much, lol }
Hieronyma….isn’t it great when the one needing care graduates in regained ability….so EVERYone can get more normal sleep? Those first days…week… so very consuming for everyone! Be encouraged…it’s getting better. Thanks for reminder of elderberry. I’d been thinking of getting that product [tho I’d really love to make some myself but…not right now] …and I never did. We’ve used it long ago. As I’ve mentioned, we just never succumb to the microbes. …until this happened. So some supply of that sort of meds are WAY outdated and we haven’t replenished. DH is definitely better but still battling. Lot of ginger/honey/lemon tea. His herbal stuff ….which he forgot to bring today. I brought some of it with us but not his lung decongestant herbs.
[BY THE WAY…..if it’s a type of pandemic flu…the type that’s wiping out the middle, healthy ages instead of very young/old…..don’t use elderberry. Google cytokine storm/pandemic. But it’s supposed to be amazingly effective for all NORMAL flu. ]
So we were off to the city today….a very long round trip with several stops. VERY good results at my appt. Got a much better plan for a health issue now. Thrilled with the new doc ….he’d actually read my chart before appt. Call him DrWelby?
I’ve got lingering annoyance in my throat that tells me to keep up the good fight against these rather persistent microbes. DH is much better than yesterday. Would have been better resting than driving today but…. Next two days we can mostly rest/recover. Dog and I walked UP the driveway, pulling the water hose [once again] to the top of the drifting snow. Need to fill livestock water tank tomorrow in sunshine….before weather changes. My sanded steps and walkways are doing fine….cuz it wasn’t warm enough up here to cause melt water to flow….yet.
