MollyM….Mt Vesuvius? Ack…glad you were wearing breathing/eye protection. But not the best weather to air out your apt. Brrrrr! Sounds like a two-person job with one keeping a vacuum hose next to sander??? You’ve made so much progress….looking forward to hearing it’s completion in Feb!
Wonder how Loving Life is doing up in her NE location. Hope she’s keeping toasty warm!
Amy D….yes, that’s exactly what it does. Mechanically loosens gunk…or muscle spasm. I use it for bronchial congestion that I’m prone to getting. You can do it with a cupped hand less effectively. Folks with asthma find it helpful but with this device, you can use it on yourself. Also loosens sore muscles. It just creates a ….I’d describe it as “mildly rough” vibration. Has to kind of gently ‘thump’ but not harsh. Vibrations that are tiny won’t work. Can clear sinuses too…if you’re careful about the face.
Unfortunately, these past two busy days have taken a toll on DH’s progress. He’s just worn out from his trip to the Midwest …parent is in hospice. 🙁 Going to nursing home next week as his sibling can no longer give 24 hr care needed. So it’s all falling on him at once. Yesterday in the city. Today we had to fill livestock tank with water….lotta hose to keep clear. [always glad for a sunny day and get that done!!!] Then he had to run into village for wood pellets and mail. Do our business. Hope tomorrow he can just REST. Then he’ll be fine.
I woke with nearly a shriek today. 😮 All those hours in the car, I’ve got a nasty ‘charlie horse’ spasm under one shoulder blade. Had to wait for DH to wake up to work on it for me. I can’t reach it, of course. Thankfully, I’m pretty much done fighting off the nasty attempt to make me sick. I never actually got sick…as is our usual. But this has been a harsh couple weeks and it usually only takes a day or two of battle to win. This lingered in the “potentially sick” stage for much longer. I also think that DH brought back a different virus/bacteria than what I battled while he was gone. Complicates things. We don’t have to go anywhere for several days now….rest is the required ‘medicine’ at our age.
OldMtWoman G’nite all …see ya in February.
