I am late on doing this. But anyway. It’s hard for me to keep up with challenges. But on the 1st. hubby had to cook collards for market, so that got him out of my way for a few hours to be able to go through papers and get boxes together to pack up books that I am giving away. Yesterday, I worked on taxes some more and paid bills. Utilities all seem to come in at once. All that got my hand hurting so bad. I had to soak it in the hot wax. That really makes my hand feel better and takes down the swelling. Went out to mailbox and here comes my neighbor running down her drive before I could get away. Wanting me to keep the dog again after keeping her for a week already. I told her she really needs to find someone else to take care of the dog, that it is getting to be to much on me with having to watch out for hubby and his problems. Only thing he does now is cook collards for the market and I don’t need to be with him because they all know to keep an eye on him there. That is my only break. She is not happy but will get over it. Felt good to be able to come home from Church today and fix lunch for hubby and without having to run across street for a while. Don’t think she took the no for an answer but I am prepared to let her know I will not be doing it anymore. Today I am just relaxing before going back to church tonight. Tomorrow I will jump back into the decluttering. It’s hard to give up some of those books. But I am working on it. Did get some oven canning done as well. So that is out of the way now.
