Feb. 4: The Compact rules are already forcing me to be more creative. Started going through clothes today and needed some boxes or baskets for storage a la Marie Kondo and looked until I found some baskets that I could repurpose. Normally I would go out and buy something. Also verified that I already have the materials to a legal fire pit (so I can have an open fire in the back yard and practice 3-stone fire cooking).
Dehydrating/grinding station not finished yet, but hopefully by Thursday. Will take a picture then. It won’t be perfect.
Made inventory sheets for my food stores/ prep supplies so I can write down what we have as I go through it this month and find out where the holes are / make it all more efficient.
