Hi all, just finished catching up on all the posts since yesterday. Ya’ll have been busy! I watched the Sun Oven class online last night. I really want one of those things but it’s going to have to wait till I can save up for it. My biggest financial priority for this year is saving up to buy some land. Instead I’m going to try to build my own. I’ve found some pretty good looking plans on the internet. Today I found a big ugly picture in a frame at the thrift store. The glass is the perfect size for my DIY solar oven and I was super excited to find exactly what I need for only 2 dollars. I’m hoping very much to scavenge most if not all of the stuff I need to build this thing. I’m not that great with power tools (they kinda scare me) but I’m determined to get over it. Of course I can always go old school with manual tools if I have to.
I’ll be working on the last of the pantry inventory this evening. I really want to get it done before the end of the week.
