Feb. 7: I’m afraid the only prepping done today was accidental – but boy was it informative.
We finally had our house blessed today, and then had lunch with our priest and sat and talked for nearly 3 hours. Learned all about smuggling and hiding people “on the lam”. Evidently Father B. was quite active in the 80’s in smuggling Bibles and other religious articles into Communist Eastern Europe and the former USSR. The largest mass he ever celebrated was with around 3000 people in the middle of a forest somewhere in Ukraine – and the KGB were completely in the dark. Got some good tips….
