AmyD…..hmmm, hadn’t heard that about moisture/O2 absorbers. Actually, I only use the moisture absorbers so I don’t have experience with the O2 ones. I always use a silica packet in the dehydrated stuff that I’ve done. I’ll keep it in mind if I ever used O2 absorbers. We are quite dry here in the arid West…but with home grown veggies, don’t want to miss a piece that was cut thicker and still has some moisture. I also check them for a while, before putting them all away. JIC

About the only thing I was able to do today was begin the Shopping List. I’ve got several scraps of paper that I’ve jotted down items…. And I still need to check my computer Master List. It’s been nearly 3 wks now since we’ve done ‘shopping’. DH did grab milk, bread, eggs when he went to get more NyQuil. Unfortunately, he went to a store we don’t usually go to….quality issues. I opened that 18 pack and found FOUR smunched eggs this morning. He always checks but was so sick and in a hurry to get home. Anyway, there is a lot we need to stock back up on….but if we had to, we could last longer. If this frigid weather continues, no hope of our poultry starting to lay early this season.
