I managed to find the solar electronics. HA! Way back in the corner, under the bottom shelf with the sugar. I don’t know how that happened, but. oh well. I was gifted some venison. They said they had too much? Never heard of such a thing, but some got ground to mix with burger and pattied out for camp this summer. The rest got canned, along with several rabbits the neighbors culled for the space.
I’ve been on a dehydrating spree for several weeks now and I have enough of a variety to start putting together meals in a jar. I love this, because it is dump and go meals that don’t require freezing. I do the freezer meals, but have lost a lot of work due to freezer failure and power outages. Dehydrating solves that problem. The meats that go in the meals are canned,
I’m not in this for the challenge. I just like seeing what people are up to, and get ideas. And help others in any way I can. “Prepping” has been a way of life for me, all my life. I never put a name on it until 2008, at which time, I really started to watch and decided to become a “prepper groupie”:. I’m not an expert in anything, but I have done just about everything. I mostly deal with keeping the pantry stocked and gardens and canning and chickens.\
