Feb. 8: Didn’t post because didn’t have time. Worked more on breaking down goals for the remainder of February into concrete, measurable tasks – but while sitting in the doctor’s waiting room and emergency room. Daughter had a doctor’s appointment after lunch because the visiting occupational therapist and the visiting nurse noticed some problems and the fact that 4 weeks after surgery, she really should be doing better – and they called the doctor and the doctor called us to come in, pronto. I was glad about that. We had had trouble getting the doctors to listen. But the doctor ended up sending daughter to the emergency room for IV fluids and tests. We got home exhausted around 11 p.m.

Feb. 9: Daughter doing noticeably better, but deteriorated a bit during the day, not enough for another emergency room visit. Went out and got electrolyte solution and forced it. She actually drank it all – with difficulty. Will be glad for Monday when we can bother the doctor again.

Tried, and failed, to catch up on work because I wasn’t able to finish on Friday. But did discover Martha Stewart’s printable checklists. Really useful for organizing, and some for prepping, so I’m making a notebook. So far, they provide the best housecleaning organization lists I’ve found – actually doable, too.

Also putting together a wholesale Frontier Co-op order for my buying club, which takes time. I need to finish tonight and confirm amounts for everyone, and also decide what to add to my preps this month. Wrote other things down to do today, but couldn’t even start. That’s life…
