Working in the garden sounds so nice but the snow here is very deep and we are supposed to get more. Spring will always be late here, but I have been working on gardening books anyway in anticipation. I cleaned two shelves of gardening books, some old, some new. I seem to have a lot of redundant information so I set some books aside to dispense with. One old one I picked up and it was so dry it started falling apart so I took it the rest of the way apart and will comb bind the parts I want to keep tomorrow.
I went to town today and got some duplicates of things to set aside for preps. When weather is better I need to go on expedition to a city quite a distance away. In this neck of the woods groceries are very expensive, more so than in other places so when I really stock up I go the distance and make an expedition out of it. Today there was a strange light in the sky (the sun was shining). It had been quite a while. One thing about being more isolated this winter is that we haven’t caught colds or flu so thankful for that and hope everyone else gets better fast.
Red Carnation- that’s a lot to hit you all at once, just keep on putting one foot in front of the other.
I haven’t read Daisy’s post for today so I’m going to do it right now.
