Stormy today- another day to hunker down and blow snow tomorrow. I’ve decided I can’t do anything about the meter but let it be estimated. I did have to fix a window today that had some breeze blowing in the shed connected to the house and rigged up a blanket because I couldn’t get the door open to the outside or climb through the snowbank. Spring will come someday and then I will make sure that doesn’t happen again by changing the window.
Not too much I can do except organize things so have been doing that and making some lists of things to do later when weather and finances permit. The oven went blooey and nothing I did could make it work again so… new stove when I can get out to buy one. In the meantime, improvise.
Still slowly working on Morse code and decluttering too. Also worked on genealogy today but that has nothing to do with prepping.
Two things on my list- new bicycle tires and tubes and put in a new well with an old fashioned hand pump near the garden.
