OldMtWoman – As to your question a couple of days ago about the suggestion of using a Zip tie to secure a 5-Gallon bucket, the only thing I can think that it might mean is that a person could possibly punch a small hole in the overlapping rim of the bucket lid and punch another one in the slightly protruding ridge that runs around the top portion of the bucket itself, and then pass a zip tie through those holes to make it less easy for someone to remove the bucket lid. Putting holes in those locations shouldn’t compromise the interior of the bucket. However, I don’t think it would make the bucket all that much more secure since someone could always just cut the plastic zip tie and then open the bucket. Of course, then you’d know someone had opened it, so it would have that advantage.
