Greetings, All.

To Hieronyma Textor:  I just posted a Vegan recipes for Roasted Sweet Potato Dahl under Recipes.  Check it out.  We had this yesterday and it was delicious.  That may help you with your diet restrictions for Lent.  It make about 3 quarts worth, so I hope you like it, you will be eating it for a while.  Definitely add the Mango Chutney and coconut.

I added pockets to my new corduroy shirt yesterday.  Now, no more excuses, it is on to the button holes.  But, I will have a new shirt very soon.

As mentioned above, I made a Vegan recipe and it was delicious.  I seem to be on a sweet potato craving cycle lately.  Hubby does not question what I make anymore.  I tell him afterwards what he ate.  But, when he tells me, halfway through the meal, that he really enjoys it, I know I have a hit.  So, into the recipe book and favorites file.

We missed the huge snowstorm and strong winds that closed highways is southern MN last night.  However, MN has a new February record, 30.4″, and more snow is still expected before month’s end. (This is not a lot for MN, just a lot for Feb.) It is so windy here that the suet log, which is hanging under a bird feeder “dome” for protection from squirrels, is being blown nearly horizontal.  The Downy Woodpecker is hanging on and not trying to feed when the log starts swinging.  It flew away when the “swing” neared the 40 degree arc.

Take care all.  I have had my two hours under the Sunbox and I should go do today’s prepping.
