Hieronyma……$9000 walk….I like it! That’s a really good way to look at it. Inspires one to continue!
Woodsrunner…..stupid shovel. I brought it thru the house from front door and stuck it immediately out the back door for that reason. So it was fine when I went out to shovel. But the couple minutes it took me to open the goat door, it was merely in the sunshine……That did it! Don’t like fussy tools! 😉
Oh boy am I wiped out today. Had to keep moving every half hour or muscles would lock up. Tomorrow could be better …or much worse. Happens to be DH’s work days too. But brisk walk with dog is always good. Wrestling/shoveling to get snow off the shelter tarp was NOT FUN! DH forgot to get it off there and it was pulling back ….snow was sliding onto our stored straw bales. He’s going to move them into the hay shed tomorrow morning, hopefully. PM chores were just kinda frustrating with this and that not working as normal. Gaaah! Could be I’m just worn out and uncoordinated.
Dumping more dirt/grit on new icy spots is always necessary. I hope to remember to dump some of our pellet stove ashes on the real trouble spots on driveway. Got about an 8″ ice dam where I usually park my truck. Ashes there too. Less chance of tracking it back inside if it’s out there in driveway and not where we’re walking. With strong, high altitude sunshine, the dark color attracts the sun [which we’re supposed to have this week] and eats the snow/ice. Hopefully, cuz this winter is not over by a long shot. 🙁
I made a new First Aid Data folder on my desktop. Dumping in data from Doom/Bloom and elsewhere. Hopefully print it out sometime the printer is up here. No room for it to live up here permanently.
OldMtWoman …G’nite all
