Saw all the snow that some states have had and it was bad. Now they are saying we might get snow here in 4 or 5 days. To soon to call yet. But we will see. I am ready for it. Got salt and snow shovel in garage.
They will be here Wed. to put in new air conditioner. Glad that will be over as it is slowing down things I need to do. They said it should all be done in one day. Hope they are right because it is a lot they are having to do.
Went through more recipes and got them into binder. I have had a bad habit of collecting recipes, printing them out and never getting them into a binder. So glad this is almost done. I have separated the canning, from the dehydrating ones and so forth. So now they are much more organized instead of being one big pile of papers that I was sorting through to find what I needed in the past. Should have gotten this done over a year ago.
I have a bunch of e-books I want to put onto a scan disc. At least if something happens I will still have them.
I am starting to think that after being on that prepper website for so long (2012- to about 3 months ago that saving all the things and storing toilet paper, paper towels, etc. was really a needed thing. I guess I could look on the bright side. I am not buying anymore paper products nor food till I have almost depleted my supply. It is just so overwhelming to have the amount of stuff I do have. I will be making a list of what I really need and use up the rest.
How much food and paper products does anyone really think we need to stock? I have been told over and over we need a year or more of food, water, paper goods such as toilet paper, towels, plates, etc. I am really thinking that amount is not needed.
