I’m feeling for all of you in the snow areas….BTDT recently.  Spent time today putting ashes on the icy spots in driveway and on the steep part with very packed snow.  The wind “helped” me scatter it….tho I was trying for a more specific approach.  LOL  Able to fill the big animal water tank cuz we were pretty warm….the chill wind across the snowy pastures didn’t help tho.

Tonite I had to figure out why the barnyard had no electric tonite – noticed poutry light was out and the barnyard light.  Both are LEDs now  [LOVE those bulbs for many reasons!!] so it was very unlikely they’d both be out together.  I’d slid in snow near where that electric line goes and I was afraid I might have disconnected something.  Big problem wasn’t the lights…it was the heater for the large water tank I *just* filled to the brim.  Found that the circuit breaker was tripped….after going down to barnyard in the dark with dog to check out first.  Logic prevailed so up to the house and out back door to fix it.  Yessss!  Have tank water heater working again!

Nothing will fix my cordless phone handset that I dumped into the washer with the basket of clothes today……  {sigh}   That’s the SECOND TIME I carried the phone downstairs in the basket and forgot when I loaded into the washer.  DH and I have been so wiped out lately that we’re a comedy of errors.  But it can get costly….or dangerous.

Made one of my better spaghetti sauces tonite.  DH love it.  Caramelized the onions.  Had green peppers.  Lotta garlic, of course.  We’ll eat on that for a while.  Good thing to cook ahead when we’re so tired.
