26th: Thrift store run. Dropped stuff off, picked up some new books. Read up on some earthquake and Shelter in Place info.
27th: First time making beans from dried by myself. Turned out good. (I called my grandma twice to make sure I hadn’t her tips.) Checked out some closeout sales at Shopko, scored a great coat, plus several other good items of clothing and some gardening stuff for less than $50.
28th: Made a large stock pot of taco soup. Froze 4 Ziploc bags of it. Been doing a lot of reading for gardening and “starting a homestead”. It got to 60° today, which made my cabin fever go crazy! Used the warmth to get some projects done. (We need moisture so I’m praying for snow and rain, but I’m so anxious for spring to arrive.)
@woodsrunner so I use Shutterfly and just collect all of my photos there. About once a week, I create a page or 2 in it, so that I don’t get behind. I just add some text in a paragraph to the side or under each photo (very school yearbook style). I order the book when there’s a 50% off sale, and collect as many coupons or vouchers through the year as I can. When you load them, they stay in your account until they are used or expire, so it’s very convenient.
